    Alfacolin® is an injectable medication containing Choline Alfoscerate (Alpha-GPC) 1000 mg/4 mL, a central cholinomimetic agent used in neurology to support cognitive function and recovery of the nervous system. Choline alfoscerate serves as a precursor of acetylcholine and phospholipids, helping support neuronal membrane integrity and neurotransmission.

    Alfacolin® is commonly used as part of treatment protocols for acute and chronic cerebrovascular disorders, traumatic brain injury recovery, and cognitive impairment associated with degenerative brain conditions.


    Active Ingredient

    Each 4 mL Ampoule Contains:

    • Choline Alfoscerate – 1000 mg

    Other Ingredients:

    • Water for Injection.

    Pharmaceutical Form

    • Solution for injection
    • Clear, colorless liquid
    • For intravenous (IV) or intramuscular (IM) administration.

    Traditional Clinical Uses

    Alfacolin® may be prescribed as supportive therapy in:

    • Recovery after traumatic brain injury
    • Acute ischemic stroke and cerebrovascular insufficiency
    • Cognitive decline and memory impairment
    • Age-related cognitive disorders
    • Psycho-organic syndrome associated with degenerative brain changes
    • Disorders of attention, motivation, and concentration.

    Directions for Use

    Typical regimen in acute conditions:

    • 1 ampoule (1000 mg) once daily
    • Administered slowly IV or IM
    • Treatment course commonly ranges from 15–20 days, followed by transition to oral therapy if appropriate. Dosage should always be determined by a healthcare professional.

    Warnings

    • Administer only under medical supervision.
    • Not recommended for self-injection without proper training.
    • Safety in pediatric patients has not been established.
    • Consult a healthcare provider before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
    • Keep out of reach of children.
