Directions for Use

Apply Fastum Gel topically to the affected area 2–3 times daily, gently massaging the gel into the skin.

According to current Fastum product information, treatment should not exceed 10 days unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.

Wash hands thoroughly after application unless the hands themselves are being treated.

Important Sun-Exposure Warning

Ketoprofen gel can cause serious photosensitivity reactions.

Do not expose treated skin to direct sunlight—even on cloudy or hazy days—or UV light from tanning beds during treatment and for 2 weeks after stopping treatment.

Treated areas should be covered with clothing when outdoors during this period.

This warning is particularly important for Fastum Gel and should be included prominently on the product page.

Precautions

Do not use Fastum Gel:

• If allergic to ketoprofen, aspirin, or other NSAIDs
• If you have previously experienced a photosensitivity reaction
• On open wounds, infected skin, eczema, or damaged skin
• Near the eyes or on mucous membranes
• Under airtight/occlusive dressings
• During the third trimester of pregnancy

Stop using immediately if a rash or other skin reaction develops.

Consult a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding or if you have significant heart, kidney, or liver disease.

Possible Side Effects

Possible adverse effects include:

• Skin redness
• Itching
• Burning sensation
