Description

Azedil® Eye Drops contain Azelastine Hydrochloride 0.5 mg/mL (0.05%), an antihistamine used to relieve and prevent symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis. Azelastine helps reduce eye itching, redness, watering, and irritation caused by pollen, dust, pet dander, and other allergens. It works by blocking histamine and other inflammatory mediators involved in allergic reactions.

Directions

Adults and Children 4 Years and Older:

• Instill 1 drop into each affected eye twice daily.
• If necessary, dosing may be increased to 1 drop up to 4 times daily.
• Wash hands before use.
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface.

Warnings

• For ophthalmic use only.
• Do not use to treat eye infections.
• Remove soft contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting.
• Benzalkonium chloride may discolor soft contact lenses.
• Do not use if allergic to azelastine or any ingredient.
• Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms worsen or do not improve.
• Keep out of reach of children.
