What It Is
Corneregel Eye Gel is a viscous ophthalmic gel formulated with dexpanthenol (a derivative of pantothenic acid, vitamin B5) that supports regeneration and healing of the cornea and conjunctival mucosa. Its thick gel base helps the active ingredient remain in contact with the eye surface for extended soothing action.

Uses & Indications
Traditionally used to help support:
• Recovery of the corneal surface in non-inflammatory corneal conditions such as corneal dystrophy, degenerations, and recurrent erosions.
• Healing support after minor eye injuries, abrasions, burns, or surgical procedures.
• Adjunctive therapy during specific corneal and conjunctival damage, including chemical and thermal burns.
• May be used in contact lens wearers to soothe irritation after improper contact lens use (lens should be removed prior to application).

Ingredients
• Dexpanthenol (approx. 50 mg per gram) — promotes epithelial cell regeneration and supports healing of mucous membranes.
• Cetrimide — preservative/antiseptic agent (small amount).
• Carbomer — thickener to ensure gel viscosity and prolonged contact.
• Disodium edetate, sodium hydroxide, purified water — excipients to stabilize the gel.

Dosing / How to Use
• Gently tilt the head back and pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket.
• Instill 1 drop of gel into the conjunctival sac up to 4 times daily and once at bedtime, or as directed by an eye care professional.
• Avoid touching the tip of the tube to the eye or any surface to prevent contamination.
• If contact lenses are worn, remove them before application and replace only after about 15 minutes.
• Treatment may continue until subjective symptoms improve.

Precautions
• Avoid use on inflamed or infected eyes unless directed by a healthcare provider; it is not a substitute for specific antimicrobial therapy.
• Brief blurred vision may occur after application due to gel viscosity; avoid driving or operating machinery until vision clears.
