Spazmalgon is a combination pain-relief and antispasmodic medicine containing metamizole sodium, pitofenone hydrochloride, and fenpiverinium bromide. It is used for short-term symptomatic relief of mild to moderate pain associated with smooth-muscle spasms, including renal or biliary colic, intestinal spasms, and painful menstrual cramps. It may also be used short term for certain other painful conditions.

Directions for Use
- Adults and adolescents over 15 years: Take 1–2 tablets, 2–3 times daily, preferably after meals.
- Do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours.
- Do not use for longer than 5 days without medical guidance.
- In children 6–15 years, dosing should be determined according to the package leaflet and preferably under medical supervision.
- Avoid alcohol while taking Spazmalgon.
- Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding according to the cited product information.
Because the product contains metamizole, rare but serious blood disorders such as agranulocytosis can occur. Stop use and seek medical attention if fever, sore throat, mouth ulcers, or other signs of infection develop during treatment.
