Siccaprotect is a German lubricating eye drop formulated to relieve dryness and irritation of the cornea and conjunctiva caused by reduced tear production. It can also be used when the eyelids do not close completely and for re-wetting hard contact lenses during wear.
The formula combines dexpanthenol, which supports the surface tissues of the eye, with polyvinyl alcohol, which helps form a longer-lasting protective moisture film. Each bottle contains 10 mL of clear, colorless eye drops.

Directions for Use
Use exactly as directed in the package leaflet or by a healthcare professional.
Instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye as directed.
Gently pull down the lower eyelid, place the drop into the eye, and slowly close the eyelids afterward.
If using other eye drops or eye ointments, allow at least 15 minutes between products; eye ointments should be applied last.
Do not use while wearing soft contact lenses.
Siccaprotect may be used for re-wetting hard contact lenses during wear.
After opening, use the bottle within 6 weeks.
The product contains benzalkonium chloride as a preservative. If symptoms do not improve after several days or become worse, consult a healthcare professional.
