Balneum Hermal Plus is a German medicated bath oil formulated for dry, scaly, itchy, and sensitive skin. It combines refined soybean oil with polidocanol (macrogol lauryl ether 6.5) to help replenish skin lipids, reduce dryness, and soothe itching.

It is used as supportive care for skin conditions associated with dryness and itching, including atopic eczema (neurodermatitis), chronic eczema, age-related itching, and psoriasis. It can be used for full baths, partial baths, or shower applications.

Directions for Use

Shake well before use.

• Full bath, approx. 150 L: Add 30–45 mL to the bathwater.
• Children’s bath, approx. 25 L: Add 5 mL.
• Partial bath, approx. 5 L: Add approximately 1 mL.
• Mix thoroughly into the bathwater.
• Bathwater temperature should preferably remain below 36°C; around 32°C may be especially suitable for dry, itchy skin.
• Bath time should generally not exceed 15–20 minutes.
• For babies and small children, a few minutes is usually sufficient.
• For shower use, apply undiluted to damp skin and rinse off.
• After bathing or showering, gently pat the skin dry rather than rubbing vigorously.
• Baths are generally used every 2–3 days, or daily when appropriate.

Do not use if allergic to soy, peanuts, or any ingredient in the product.
