Optiderm Cream is a German medicated moisturizer formulated for dry, itchy, rough, and irritated skin. It combines 5% urea with 3% polidocanol (lauromacrogol 6.5) to help regulate moisture in the outer layer of the skin while providing targeted itch relief.

It is used as supportive care for skin conditions associated with dryness and itching, including atopic eczema (neurodermatitis) and xerotic eczema caused by excessive skin dryness.

Directions for Use

• Apply a thin, even layer twice daily to the affected skin unless otherwise directed by a healthcare professional.
• Gently spread over the dry or itchy areas.
• Average treatment duration is approximately 3 weeks.
• For persistent dry skin, the cream may be used for a longer period when appropriate.
• Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
• Do not apply to acutely inflamed, weeping, infected skin or widespread acute redness.
• If symptoms worsen or do not improve after approximately 3 weeks, consult a healthcare professional.
• After opening, use within 6 months.
