Its smaller size is specially formulated for children ages 2 to 11 years and is easy to administer at home.

• Sodium Phosphates 9.5 g (Monobasic Sodium Phosphate Monohydrate 3.5 g and Dibasic Sodium Phosphate 6 g per 59 mL delivered dose) – Saline laxative

Directions

Children 5 to Under 12 Years

• Use 1 bottle as a single dose.

Children 2 to Under 5 Years

• Use only under the direction of a healthcare professional.

Children Under 2 Years

• Do not use.
• Remove protective shield before use.
• Position child comfortably according to package instructions.
• Gently insert the lubricated tip into the rectum.
• Squeeze bottle until nearly all liquid is expelled.
• Remove tip while maintaining bottle pressure.
• Usually produces a bowel movement within 1 to 5 minutes.

Warnings

• For rectal use only.
• Do not use if the child has kidney disease unless directed by a healthcare professional.
• Do not use more than one enema in a 24-hour period.
• Stop use and consult a healthcare professional if rectal bleeding occurs or if there is no bowel movement after use.
• Dehydration may occur if used improperly.
