Micotar Oral Gel is a German antifungal medicine containing miconazole 20 mg per gram. It is used for the treatment of fungal infections affecting the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat, including oral candidiasis (oral thrush).
The product is supplied as a white oral gel in a 20 g tube and includes a double-ended measuring spoon with 1 mL and 2 mL measures. It is intended for infants from 4 months of age, children, and adults when used according to the package leaflet or healthcare professional instructions.

Directions for Use
Use Micotar Oral Gel exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by a doctor or pharmacist.
Infants and children 4–24 months: Give 1 small measuring spoon (1 mL) 4 times daily.
Adults and children 2 years and older: Give 1 large measuring spoon (2 mL) 4 times daily.
For adults and children 2 years and older, the maximum daily dose is 20 mg miconazole per kg of body weight.
Divide each dose into smaller portions and apply to the affected areas of the mouth.
Keep the gel in contact with the affected areas for as long as possible before swallowing.
In infants and young children, do not apply the gel toward the back of the throat because of choking risk.
If symptoms do not improve or become worse after 5 days, consult a healthcare professional.
After opening, the tube may be used for up to 8 weeks.
