Nurofen® Immedia 400 mg Film-Coated Tablets are a fast-acting pain reliever containing 400 mg of ibuprofen per tablet, supplied as ibuprofen-DL-lysinate.
The lysine salt formulation promotes faster absorption of ibuprofen. According to Nurofen Germany, Nurofen Immedia can begin providing relief within approximately 30 minutes and acts faster than standard ibuprofen formulations.
It is intended for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain, including headache, toothache and menstrual pain, as well as for reducing fever.

Uses
Nurofen Immedia is indicated for short-term symptomatic treatment of:

Directions for Use
Adults & Adolescents Ages 12+
For individuals weighing 40 kg (88 lb) or more:
Take 1 tablet (400 mg) as a single dose.
If another dose is required, wait at least 6 hours.
Maximum: 3 tablets (1,200 mg ibuprofen) within 24 hours.
Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
People with a sensitive stomach are advised to take the tablet with food. Taking it with or shortly after food may delay the onset of action.
Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest period necessary.
Duration of Use
Without medical advice:
Adults: Seek medical advice if fever persists for more than 3 days or pain for more than 4 days, or if symptoms worsen.
Adolescents ages 12–17: Consult a healthcare professional if treatment is required for more than 3 days or symptoms worsen.

- Are allergic to ibuprofen, aspirin, or another NSAID
- Have previously experienced asthma, facial swelling, hives, or breathing difficulty after taking aspirin or another NSAID
