Alka Seltzer is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that acts as an analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory agent. Each effervescent tablet contains 324 mg of acetylsalicylic acid, which relieves various types of pain, including headache, toothache, muscle pain, joint pain and sore throat. Alka-Seltzer is also suitable for the symptomatic treatment of pain and fever in colds or flu. The effervescent form ensures rapid dissolution and easy administration.
