Known as Rasoul, the red or brown clay is mined from the Atlas Mountains in Morocco. Because it contains a higher percentage of magnesium and silica, it has a pleasant fine texture and is used in some of the best spas. Moroccan clay helps to cope with blackheads and clogged pores, having a gentle exfoliating effect. It is one of the most hydrating types of clay and improves skin elasticity.
Mask idea: Combine 2 tablespoons of red clay with 3 tablespoons of rose water and 1 teaspoon of mashed avocado. Mix well and spread on the face. When the mask begins to dry, wash off with water.
