Bepanthen Eye and Nose Ointment is a sterile pharmaceutical ointment designed to support the natural healing and regeneration of delicate mucous membranes in both the eyes and nose. This specialized formula contains 5% dexpanthenol, a provitamin B5, which is essential for tissue repair and maintaining moisture in irritated or damaged mucosal surfaces.

This ophthalmic and nasal ointment is indicated for conditions such as dry, irritated, or cracked nasal mucosa (e.g., from frequent nose blowing or environmental factors), as well as sore or irritated eyes and minor conjunctival injuries. It also aids in the recovery from superficial corneal irritation or dryness and discomfort after environmental exposure to wind, sun, or smoke.

To use, apply a thin strand (~1 cm) into the lower conjunctival sac for eye application, or to the affected nasal mucosa in each nostril. Remove contact lenses before eye use. Note that vision may temporarily blur after eye application. If using for nasal application, do not use the same tube for eye application afterward. Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist beyond 3 days for eye issues or 1 week for nasal issues.
