Cycloferon is an antiviral immunocorrecting drug that stimulates the body’s nonspecific immune response and interferon production. It is traditionally used in complex therapy for influenza, acute respiratory viral infections, herpes infections, and for nonspecific prophylaxis of viral illnesses.

Active Ingredient
• Meglumine acridonacetate (in terms of acridonic acid) — 150 mg per tablet (obtained from acridonacetic acid and meglumine).

Excipients
• Povidone K30, calcium stearate, hypromellose, polysorbate 80 (auxiliaries)
• Enteric coating: methacrylic acid/ethyl acrylate copolymer, propylene glycol.

How To Use & Dosing
• Take orally without chewing, with half a glass of water, 30 min before meals.
• Age-based typical dosing:
– Children 4-6 years: 1 tablet (150 mg) once daily
– Children 7-11 years: 2–3 tablets (300–450 mg) once daily
– Adolescents & Adults ≥12 years: 3–4 tablets (450–600 mg) once daily

• Common treatment course: tablets taken in age-appropriate doses on days 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23 (up to ~40 tablets total), depending on severity and clinical symptoms.
• For nonspecific prophylaxis during a confirmed viral epidemic or post-exposure, dosing often follows a similar course of repeated days.
