Enterofuryl  (Энтерофурил суспензия 200 мг/5 мл) is  an antibacterial oral suspension containing nifuroxazide 200 mg per 5 ml. It is formulated to act locally in the intestines against susceptible bacteria that cause acute infectious diarrhea. Nifuroxazide works within the gastrointestinal tract and is minimally absorbed systemically.

Uses & Indications

Traditionally used for:

• Acute bacterial diarrhea
• Gastrointestinal infections accompanied by abdominal discomfort, bloating, or gas
• Support of intestinal balance during bacterial intestinal disturbances

It is intended for short-term management of suspected bacterial diarrhea.

Dosing / How to Use

• Shake well before use.
• Adults: 5 ml every 6–8 hours (as commonly directed).

Precautions

• For short-term use only.
• Not indicated for viral diarrhea.
• Do not use in infants under 2 months unless prescribed.
