IMUDON® (Имудон) – Lysates Bacteria Mix, 40 Tablets

IMUDON® is an immunostimulatory lozenge preparation comprised of a standardized mixture of bacterial lysates designed to support local immune defenses in the oral cavity and pharynx. It is traditionally used in otolaryngology and dentistry to support the body’s natural response to infectious and inflammatory conditions affecting the throat, tonsils, gums, and oral mucosa.

Active Ingredients (per Tablet):

• Bacterial lysates mix (Imudon®) – a standardized combination of lysates from species often involved in oral and pharyngeal infections, including Lactobacillus, Streptococcus, Enterococcus, Staphylococcus, Klebsiella, Corynebacterium, Fusobacterium, and Candida albicans.

Each tablet typically contains approximately 0.1575 mg of bacterial lysates (≈ 2.7 mg dry matter equivalent).

Common Uses:

IMUDON® tablets are indicated as an adjunctive immunostimulant for supportive care in the following conditions:
• Inflammatory and infectious diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx (e.g., pharyngitis, chronic tonsillitis)
• Periodontal disease, stomatitis, glossitis, gingivitis
• Oral dysbiosis
• Infections or mucosal damage following dental procedures
• Pre- and post-operative supportive care after tonsil surgery or tooth extraction

How to Use & Dosage:

Adults and Adolescents ≥ 14 years:
• Acute or exacerbated conditions: Dissolve 8 tablets per day in the mouth without chewing, at 1–2-hour intervals, for about 10 days.
• Prevention of chronic inflammatory episodes: Dissolve 6 tablets per day, at 2-hour intervals, for about 20 days.
• Preventive courses may be repeated 3–4 times per year as advised by a healthcare professional.

Children 3–14 years:
• Acute or prevention use: Dissolve 6 tablets per day in the mouth at 1–2-hour intervals. Therapy duration is similar (10–20 days). Adult supervision recommended for younger children.

Tablets must be dissolved slowly in the mouth (not chewed or swallowed whole), and food or drink should be avoided for about 1 hour after administration to maintain efficacy.
