Directions

• Iron is often absorbed best on an empty stomach, but it may be taken with food if stomach upset occurs.
• Avoid taking iron within 2 hours of antacids, calcium supplements, dairy products, tea, coffee, or certain antibiotics, as these may reduce absorption.
