Relieving a stuffy nose in colds, allergies, or acute rhinitis.
Helping with sinusitis or when there’s swelling in the nasal passages or Eustachian tubes.
In children 1‑6 years old: this 0.025% strength is usually prescribed in that age group.
Children aged 1‑6 years: 1‑2 drops in each nostril, 2‑3 times a day.
For older children or adults, higher concentrations are often used (0.05% etc.). This 0.025% strength is specifically for younger children.
Duration: typically limited to 3‑5 days continuous use. Longer use increases risk of rebound congestion (when nasal passages swell again once the drug effect wears off).
