✅ What it is:

• Active ingredient: Chloronitrophenol (1% solution).

• Form: 25 mL solution (for external use only).

🔹 Uses:

Nitrofungin is used to treat fungal skin infections such as:

• Ringworm (Tinea corporis)

• Athlete’s foot (Tinea pedis)

• Jock itch (Tinea cruris)

• Nail fungus (Onychomycosis) – sometimes applied directly to affected nails.

• Also has antibacterial properties against some bacteria.

🔹 How it’s applied:

• Usually applied 2–3 times daily to the affected area.

• Treatment often continues for 2–4 weeks, and sometimes longer for nail fungus.

• Should be applied to clean, dry skin.

• After symptoms disappear, treatment often continues for at least 1 more week to prevent relapse.

⚠️ Precautions:

• External use only – do not swallow.

• May cause mild burning, redness, or irritation at the application site.

• Avoid use in children under 2 years old, unless prescribed.

• Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without a doctor’s advice.
