Description
Piroxicam AL® Gel is a topical nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formulated to provide localized relief of pain and inflammation associated with muscle, tendon, and joint injuries. When applied directly to the skin, piroxicam penetrates the affected tissues to help reduce pain, swelling, and stiffness without the higher systemic exposure associated with oral NSAIDs. It is commonly used for sports injuries, sprains, strains, back pain, and mild osteoarthritis.

Directions
Adults:
- Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected area 3–4 times daily.
- Gently massage until absorbed.
- Wash hands after application unless treating the hands.
- Do not apply to broken, infected, or irritated skin.
- Avoid covering the treated area with airtight dressings.
Warnings
- For external use only.
- Do not use if you are allergic to piroxicam, aspirin, or other NSAIDs.
- Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Do not apply to open wounds or damaged skin.
- Avoid excessive sunlight or UV exposure on treated areas during use, as piroxicam may increase photosensitivity.
