Description

Somerset Olopatadine Hydrochloride Ophthalmic Solution USP 0.1% is an antihistamine eye drop formulated to temporarily relieve the signs and symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis, including itchy, red, and irritated eyes caused by pollen, ragweed, grass, pet dander, and other allergens. Olopatadine works as both an antihistamine and mast cell stabilizer to help prevent allergic reactions in the eyes. The 0.1% strength is comparable to the original Patanol®/Pataday® Twice Daily Relief formulation.

Indications

Temporarily relieves:

• Itchy eyes due to allergies
• Red eyes associated with allergic conjunctivitis
• Eye irritation caused by pollen, ragweed, grass, dust, and pet dander
• Seasonal allergy-related eye symptoms

Directions

Adults and Children 2 Years and Older

• Instill 1 drop in each affected eye twice daily, approximately 6 to 8 hours apart.
• Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface.
• Wash hands before use.

Warnings

• For ophthalmic (eye) use only.
• Do not use if solution changes color or becomes cloudy.
• Do not wear contact lenses if eyes are red.
• Remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 10 minutes before reinserting.
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination.
• Stop use and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms worsen or persist.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage
