Description
Anaferon Kids is a children’s medicinal product supplied as 20 tablets for dissolution in the mouth. It is used for the prevention and treatment of influenza and acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) in children from 1 month to 18 years of age. It is also listed for certain herpesvirus infections and some acute viral intestinal infections as part of combination therapy in age-appropriate children.
The tablets are taken orally and allowed to dissolve completely in the mouth. For younger children who cannot safely dissolve a tablet, the product information recommends dissolving the tablet in a small amount of boiled water at room temperature.

Directions for Use
Use according to the package leaflet or as directed by a healthcare professional.
- Take 1 tablet per dose, separately from meals.
- Allow the tablet to dissolve completely in the mouth.
- For children 1 month to 3 years, dissolve the tablet in approximately 1 tablespoon of boiled water at room temperature.
- For influenza and ARVI, the labeled regimen starts with 1 tablet every 30 minutes during the first 2 hours (5 tablets total), followed by 3 additional tablets spaced evenly through the remainder of the first day.
- From day 2 onward, take 1 tablet 3 times daily until recovery.
- For prevention of influenza and ARVI, take 1 tablet once daily for 1–3 months.
- If there is no improvement by the third day of treatment for influenza or ARVI, consult a healthcare professional.
The tablets contain lactose and should not be used in children with certain hereditary disorders of galactose metabolism, lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption.
