Chlorhexamed Mouth Gel is a German oral antiseptic medicine containing chlorhexidine digluconate 10 mg/g. It is used as temporary supportive treatment for bacterial inflammation of the gums (gingivitis) and oral mucosa, and after periodontal surgical procedures.

The 9 g tube includes an applicator for targeted placement directly onto inflamed areas in the mouth.

Directions for Use

• Adults and children 12 years and older: Apply enough gel to completely cover the inflamed area 1–2 times daily.
• Use the supplied applicator to apply the gel directly to the affected area.
• Leave in place for approximately 1 minute, then spit out.
• Do not swallow.
• Brush teeth at least 5 minutes before application, then rinse the mouth thoroughly with water.
• Children 6–12 years should use only after consulting a doctor or pharmacist.
• Do not use in children under 6 years.
• After opening, use within 1 month.
• If symptoms do not improve or worsen within 1 month, consult a healthcare professional.
