Description
Auridexan is an otic solution containing decamethoxin 0.5 mg/mL. It is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic bacterial and fungal otitis externa and non-perforated otitis media.
Decamethoxin is a topical antiseptic with antimicrobial activity against a broad range of microorganisms, including gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, Candida species, dermatophytes, and certain other pathogens. The solution is supplied in a 5 mL bottle with a dropper cap.

Directions for Use
- Warm the solution to a comfortable temperature before application.
- Adults and children 12 years and older: instill 2–3 drops into each affected ear 3–4 times daily.
- Treatment duration depends on the severity of the condition and clinical response and should be determined by a healthcare professional.
- Do not use in children under 12 years because sufficient clinical experience is not available.
- Do not use if allergic to decamethoxin or ethanol.
- This product is intended for non-perforated otitis; do not use when a perforated eardrum is suspected unless specifically directed by a healthcare professional.
A brief, temporary burning sensation or local irritation may occur after application.
