Bromelaintabletten hysan® is a herbal medicinal product containing bromelain, a natural enzyme extracted from the pineapple stem. The gastro-resistant tablets are specially formulated to protect bromelain from stomach acid, allowing it to reach the small intestine intact for optimal absorption. Bromelain helps reduce swelling of the nasal and sinus mucosa, relieving pressure and discomfort associated with colds and sinus inflammation. It is also used as supportive therapy for acute swelling after surgery or injury, particularly involving the nose and paranasal sinuses.

Active Ingredient

Each gastro-resistant tablet contains:

• Bromelain – 500 F.I.P. units (proteolytic enzyme from pineapple stem (Ananas comosus))

Indications

Traditionally used for:

• Swelling of the nasal and sinus mucosa during colds
• Sinus pressure and facial discomfort

Directions

Adults and adolescents (12 years and older):

• Take 1 tablet 1–2 times daily.
• Swallow the tablet whole with plenty of water.
• Take approximately 30 minutes before meals.
