Indications (What it’s used for)
Cerucal is used for:
Symptomatic relief of nausea and vomiting from varied causes (post-operative, chemotherapy, migraines, etc.)
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and reflux esophagitis
Delayed gastric emptying / gastroparesis (e.g. in diabetic patients) Motility disorders of the upper GI tract (atrophy, atony, hypotonia)
To aid in certain diagnostic/therapeutic procedures (e.g. to speed gastric emptying before X-ray contrast studies)
Dosage & How to Use
Population
Oral (Tablets)
Adults / ≥14-15 years
Usually 10 mg 3-4 times per day, 30 minutes before meals
