Description
Fluomizin® 10 mg Vaginal Tablets is a vaginal antiseptic containing 10 mg of dequalinium chloride per tablet. It is indicated for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis (BV) and, in some countries, other vaginal infections of bacterial origin. Dequalinium chloride acts locally in the vagina to reduce the bacteria responsible for infection while minimizing systemic absorption.

Ingredients

- Dequalinium chloride
- Lactose monohydrate
- Microcrystalline cellulose
- Magnesium stearate
- Other pharmaceutical excipients
Directions for Use
- Insert 1 vaginal tablet deeply into the vagina once daily, preferably at bedtime, for 6 consecutive days.
- The tablet should be inserted while lying down with knees slightly bent.
- Interrupt treatment during menstruation and resume afterward.
- Complete the full 6-day course, even if symptoms improve before treatment is finished.
- If the vagina is very dry, the tablet may be lightly moistened with a drop of water before insertion to aid dissolution.
