It's a powder that's mixed with water before it's taken by mouth. Fosfomycin (Monurol) is a convenient option because you only need to take one dose to treat your infection and it doesn't have many drug interactions.
This product is very well known in Europe, and I tried it before. It's useful if you have small stones or sand in your kidneys. I just star ted to use it.
It works well but needs higher dosages to be efficient, which means too expensive and causes more pain from bigger amount of injection. Still worth it since there are no alternatives
