The povidone base allows slow, controlled release of iodine, reducing heat irritation and ensuring long-lasting antiseptic protection.

✔ Indications

Jodasept is used for the treatment of:

• 🔥 Skin burns

• 🩹 Open wounds and varicose ulcers

• 🛏️ Decubitus (bedsores)

• 🦠 Bacterial wound infections

• 🤕 Purulent skin eruptions (pyoderma)

• 🌿 Secondary fungal infections

• 🧴 Superficial dermatitis and infected skin conditions

• Povidone-iodine releases iodine gradually, extending antimicrobial action

• Effective even against microorganisms resistant to sulfonamides & antibiotics
