Active Ingredients: Povidone-iodine, allantoin 

Use: Topical antiseptic for sore throat and infections in the oral cavity / pharynx

Jox-Teva is used for treatment / relief of inflammatory or infectious conditions of the mouth, throat, and ENT organs. Typical uses include: 

• Tonsillitis, pharyngitis, tonsil-pharyngitis (acute and some chronic forms) 

• Sore throat (different types, e.g. catarrhal, follicular) 

• Glossitis, stomatitis, aphthous ulcers (mouth sores) 

• As adjunctive treatment: with antibiotics (in streptococcal infections) 

• For mucosal disinfection after surgical or dental procedures involving the oropharynx

For spray form, used in adults and children 8 years and older. 

Apply 2-4 times per day as needed. In some cases up to every 4 hours if necessary. 

Application method: install/applicator, press spray to prime if needed; aim 2-3 cm into the mouth or throat, generally 1 spray each side (right and left) per application. Hold bottle vertically.
