Kagocel is a modern antiviral drug intended for the treatment and prevention of viral infections in adults and children. Dosage (Posology) and method of administration
Kagocel is taken orally, washed down with a sufficient amount of water, regardless of meals. The dosage regimen depends on age, the purpose of administration (treatment or prevention) and the specific disease:
For the treatment of influenza and ARVI in adults: take 2 tablets 3 times a day for the first two days, then 1 tablet 3 times a day for another two days.
For prevention: 2 tablets a day for two days, after which take a break for five days. The cycle can be repeated during a weekly interval.
Children take the drug depending on the doctor's recommendations.
