Description
Lysobact DUO® Spray is an oromucosal antiseptic medicine from Bosnalijek formulated for the local treatment of acute inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat.
Its dual-active formula combines lysozyme hydrochloride 20 mg/mL with cetylpyridinium chloride 1.5 mg/mL. It is indicated for inflammatory conditions of the oral and throat mucosa, including gingivitis, stomatitis and aphthous lesions, and as part of local therapy for a sore, irritated and inflamed throat or pharynx.
The 30 mL spray has a peppermint flavor and is supplied in a dark-glass bottle with a spray pump and applicator.

The 20 mg of lysozyme hydrochloride corresponds to 800,000 FIP activity units per mL. One spray delivers approximately 0.20 mL, containing 4 mg lysozyme hydrochloride and 0.3 mg cetylpyridinium chloride.
Other Ingredients
Glycerin 85%, propylene glycol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium saccharin, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, peppermint flavor, sodium hydroxide and purified water.
How It Works
Lysozyme is an enzyme with antimicrobial properties and local anti-inflammatory activity. Cetylpyridinium chloride is a quaternary ammonium antiseptic with activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and provides a disinfecting effect on the mucous membranes.
How to Use
Adults & Children 6 Years and Older
For one dose, press the spray pump 5 times, directing the applicator toward the affected area of the mouth or throat.
The dose may be repeated 3–6 times daily, maintaining an interval of at least 2 hours between doses. Hold your breath while spraying and do not swallow during application.
Do not use for longer than 5 days unless advised by a healthcare professional. If symptoms persist after 5 days or are accompanied by fever, seek medical advice.
