How to Use

Adults & Adolescents 12 Years and Older

Take:

1 prolonged-release capsule once daily.

Swallow the capsule whole with sufficient liquid.

The prolonged-release capsule should not be opened, chewed, or crushed, as this can interfere with its controlled-release properties.

Mucosolvan can generally be taken independently of meals.

Adequate fluid intake may help support the medicine's mucus-loosening effect.

If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 4–5 days, seek medical advice.

Important Information

• Do not use if allergic to ambroxol hydrochloride or another ingredient in the product.
• This medicine is intended for a productive cough involving bronchial mucus, rather than routine suppression of a dry cough.
• Rare but serious skin reactions, including Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis, have been reported in association with ambroxol. Stop treatment and seek immediate medical attention if a progressive skin rash, blistering, or mucosal lesions develop.
• Use caution in cases of impaired kidney function or severe liver disease; medical advice may be required.
