  • Total daily ~ 80 000–100 000 IU  
• Children 1–3 years:
  • 2 sprays per nostril, 3–4 times per day
  • Total daily ~ 60 000–80 000 IU  
• Infants 1 month–1 year:
  • 1 spray (or drop) per nostril 5 times/day
  • Total daily ~ 40 000 IU 

Notes:

• 1 spray actuation is typically counted as one short press of the pump. 

• Doses above are based on therapeutic use for respiratory infections (e.g., ARVI). 

• There are also prophylactic schemes (e.g., 2 times/day for 5–7 days after contact with a sick person), but those follow the same age-based dosing only less frequently.
