Otirelax® Ear Drops 15 ml

What it is

• Ear drops used to relieve pain and inflammation in the ear.

• Active ingredients:

  • Phenazone (Antipyrine) – an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-inflammatory.

  • Lidocaine hydrochloride – a local anesthetic that numbs pain.

• Form: 15 ml dropper bottle.

What it’s used for

• Relief of ear pain in:

  • Acute otitis media (middle ear inflammation without perforation of the eardrum).

  • Otitis externa (outer ear inflammation, sometimes called “swimmer’s ear”).

• May be prescribed for pain relief before or after certain ear procedures.

How it works

• Phenazone reduces inflammation and provides pain relief.

• Lidocaine numbs the ear canal and reduces discomfort quickly.

How to use

• Typical dose: 3–4 drops into the affected ear, 2–3 times daily (or as directed by your doctor).

• Warm the bottle slightly in your hands before use to avoid dizziness.

• Lie on your side, instill drops, and remain in that position for a few minutes.

Warnings & precautions

• Do not use if the eardrum is perforated (ruptured) or if you have ear discharge (pus, blood).

• Avoid if allergic to lidocaine, phenazone, or similar drugs.

• For external use only – never ingest.

• Safe use in pregnancy/breastfeeding should be confirmed with a doctor.
