Proctozone-B™ Bisacodyl Suppositories are a stimulant laxative formulated to provide fast, dependable relief of occasional constipation and irregularity. Administered rectally, the suppositories work directly in the lower bowel and generally produce a bowel movement within 15 minutes to 1 hour. This format is ideal when rapid relief is desired.

Directions

Adults and Children 12 Years and Older

• Insert 1 suppository rectally once daily as needed.

Children 6 to Under 12 Years

• Use ½ suppository once daily.

Children Under 6 Years

• Do not use unless directed by a healthcare professional.

Administration:

• Peel open the wrapper.
• Insert the suppository well into the rectum, pointed end first.
• Retain for approximately 15–20 minutes if possible.

Warnings

• For rectal use only.
• Do not swallow.
• Ask a healthcare professional before use if you have stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or a sudden change in bowel habits lasting more than 2 weeks.
• Stop use and consult a healthcare professional if rectal bleeding occurs or if no bowel movement occurs after use.
• Do not use for more than 1 week unless directed by a healthcare professional.
• May cause mild abdominal discomfort, rectal burning, faintness, or cramping.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage
