Directions

1. Sit quietly and rest for at least 15 minutes before measuring.
2. Avoid eating, smoking, caffeine, alcohol, or exercise for 30 minutes before taking a reading.
3. Wrap the cuff around the left upper arm, approximately 1 inch (2–3 cm) above the elbow.
4. Keep your arm supported at heart level.
5. Press the START/STOP button.
6. Remain still and do not talk while the measurement is in progress.
7. Read or listen to the results displayed on the screen.
8. Record or review your readings using the monitor's memory.
