Tabex is an oral smoking-cessation aid containing cytisine 1.5 mg per tablet, a naturally derived plant alkaloid used to help people reduce nicotine dependence and support quitting smoking. It has been licensed and used in parts of Eastern and Central Europe for decades.
Cytisine acts as a partial agonist at nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the brain — particularly the α4β2 subtype. By binding to these receptors, cytisine helps reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms when quitting smoking, making it easier to stop tobacco use.

How It Works
