Tobrex Eye Drops – 5 ml

Tobrex is a ophthalmic antibiotic containing tobramycin, used for the treatment of bacterial infections of the eye and surrounding tissues. Tobramycin is a broad-spectrum aminoglycoside antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, helping eliminate susceptible bacteria and reduce inflammation.

Tobrex is commonly used for acute and chronic bacterial eye infections and for infection prevention following minor eye trauma or procedures.

Indications

• Bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye)

• Blepharitis (eyelid infections)

• Keratitis and other external ocular infections

• Prevention of bacterial infection after minor eye injury or ophthalmic procedures

How to Use
Use exactly as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
Typical dosing:

• 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 4–6 hours

• In severe infections, dosing may be increased to every 1–2 hours initially, then reduced as improvement occurs

Avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye or any surface to prevent contamination.

Precautions
Prescription medication. Not effective for viral or fungal eye infections. Do not wear contact lenses during treatment unless directed by a doctor. Temporary burning, irritation, or blurred vision may occur after application. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if symptoms worsen or do not improve within a few days. Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding only with medical advice.
