Spazgan® Tablets are a combination medication formulated to help relieve painful smooth muscle spasms, cramping, and fever. Its triple-action formula combines an analgesic, an antispasmodic, and an anticholinergic agent to provide effective relief from abdominal cramps, biliary and renal colic, urinary tract spasms, intestinal spasms, and menstrual pain.

Comparable in composition and action to Spazmalgon®, Spazgan® also helps relieve headaches, toothaches, and other mild to moderate pain associated with muscle spasms.

Directions for Use

Adults:

• Take 1 tablet 1–2 times daily, preferably after meals with water, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
• Maximum daily dose: 3 tablets.

Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary.

Warnings

• Do not use if allergic to metamizole, pyrazolone derivatives, or any component of the product.
• Contraindicated in individuals with severe liver disease, severe kidney disease, blood disorders, bone marrow suppression, or certain enzyme deficiencies such as G6PD deficiency.
• Consult a healthcare professional before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• May cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery if affected.
• Avoid alcohol while taking this medication.
• Rare but serious blood disorders, including agranulocytosis, have been reported with metamizole. Stop use immediately and seek medical attention if you develop fever, sore throat, mouth ulcers, or other signs of infection.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage

Store below 25°C (77°F) in a dry place, protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
