Venostasin® Retard 50 mg is a traditional herbal medicinal product used for the treatment of symptoms associated with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). It contains a standardized horse chestnut seed extract providing 50 mg of escin (aescin) per capsule. Escin helps strengthen vein walls, reduce capillary permeability, improve venous tone, and decrease swelling, making it effective for relieving heavy legs, leg pain, swelling (edema), itching, and nighttime calf cramps. The prolonged-release formulation provides continuous release of the active ingredient throughout the day.

Active Ingredient

Each prolonged-release capsule contains:

• Horse Chestnut Seed Dry Extract (Aesculus hippocastanum) 240–290 mg
  • Standardized to 50 mg Escin (Aescin)
  • Extraction solvent: 50% ethanol (v/v)

Directions
