Used for appetite stimulation. In some sources, indicated for conditions like hypochlorhydric or achlorhydric gastritis, anorexia.
Not to be used in children under 12 years
Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Not to use if there is increased gastric secretion, peptic ulcer disease of stomach or duodenum, reflux esophagitis.
