Aleve® is a long-lasting pain reliever and fever reducer containing naproxen sodium 220 mg, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Just one caplet can provide pain relief for up to 12 hours, making it a convenient option for managing everyday aches and pains, including arthritis pain, back pain, headaches, muscle aches, toothaches, and menstrual cramps.
Indications
Temporarily relieves:

Directions
Adults and children 12 years and older:
Take 1 caplet every 8–12 hours while symptoms last.
For the first dose, you may take 2 caplets within the first hour.
Do not exceed 2 caplets in any 8–12 hour period.
Do not exceed 3 caplets in 24 hours.
Children under 12 years:
Ask a healthcare professional before use.
Warnings
Contains an NSAID.
May increase the risk of stomach bleeding, heart attack, heart failure, or stroke.
Do not use if you have had an allergic reaction to aspirin or other NSAIDs.
Do not use immediately before or after heart surgery.
Ask a healthcare professional before use if you have ulcers, bleeding disorders, high blood pressure, heart disease, kidney disease, or take blood thinners.
Keep out of reach of children.
