Enterogelan® Akut 24 by Virbac is a veterinary dietary supplementary feed paste for dogs formulated to help reduce acute intestinal absorption disturbances during and after acute diarrhea. The 24 formulation is specifically intended for dogs weighing 7–30 kg (15–66 lb).
Its multi-component formula combines bentonite, prebiotic inulin, electrolytes, Vitamin B12, easily digestible carbohydrates, and eight botanical ingredients. Virbac describes the product as supporting restoration of normal intestinal function, stabilization of intestinal flora, soothing of the digestive tract, protection of the intestinal mucosa, and replacement of electrolytes and energy sources lost during diarrhea.
The paste comes in an adjustable oral dosing injector for convenient administration.

Key Ingredients
Bentonite
The current Virbac formulation provides 225 g bentonite per kg. Bentonite acts as a technological binding ingredient within the gastrointestinal formula.
Inulin
A prebiotic ingredient included to complement the product's digestive and intestinal-flora support.
Electrolytes
The formulation includes sodium chloride and potassium chloride, along with magnesium citrate, helping support electrolyte balance during digestive upset.
Vitamin B12
Provides 100,000 μg Vitamin B12 per kg of paste.
Eight Botanical Ingredients
The formula contains dried botanical material from:
For dogs weighing 7–18 kg (15–40 lb): Give 2 mL in the morning and 2 mL in the evening.
For dogs weighing 18–30 kg (40–66 lb): Give 4 mL in the morning and 4 mL in the evening.
Administer the paste orally, preferably into the side of the dog's mouth. Each graduation on the Enterogelan 24 dosing injector corresponds to 2 mL. Current product information describes administration for 1–7 days, while Virbac Germany currently recommends veterinary advice regarding use or extension of the feeding period.
