HERBION® Efeu is a herbal cough syrup containing ivy leaf dry extract (Hedera helix). It is intended for productive, mucus-producing coughs, helping loosen mucus and make it easier to cough up. Active Ingredient

Ivy leaf dry extract (Hedera helix L., folium) – 7 mg per 1 ml

Extraction ratio: 5–7.5:1
Extraction solvent: 30% ethanol (m/m)

Therefore, 5 ml contains 35 mg of ivy leaf dry extract.

• Sorbitol solution 70%
• Glycerol
• Sodium benzoate
• Citric acid monohydrate
• Lemon balm flavor
• Purified water
• Trace amount of simethicone from the extract

The syrup contains sorbitol and a small amount of ethanol associated with the extract/flavoring.

How to Use

Use the measuring spoon included with the 150 ml bottle and follow the dosage instructions on the package leaflet.

The product is intended for oral use. Do not give to children under 2 years of age.

Storage

• No special storage conditions are required before opening.

• A small amount of sediment may occur and can be redispersed by shaking.
