Mucopect Kids Syrup is a mucolytic syrup containing carbocisteine — a medicine that helps liquefy and thin thick mucus in the airways. By reducing the viscosity of sputum, it makes coughing easier and improves breathing.
It is commonly used for wet coughs, bronchitis, and respiratory infections with difficult, sticky mucus.

Uses / Indications:

• Wet/productive cough

• Thick, sticky mucus

• Acute and chronic bronchitis

• Tracheitis

• Nasopharyngitis with mucus congestion

• Respiratory infections accompanied by excessive mucus

How to Give (Pediatric Use):
Follow the dosing listed on the product label or pediatrician’s advice.
Typical guidelines (may vary by country/manufacturer):

• Children 2–5 years: small measured doses several times daily

• Children over 5 years: higher age-appropriate doses
  Give after meals with water.
  Do not exceed recommended dosing.

Precautions:

• Not recommended for children under 2 years

• Avoid if the child has gastric ulcers or severe liver/kidney problems

• Do NOT combine with cough suppressants (they prevent mucus from clearing)

• Stop use and consult a doctor if symptoms worsen or fever increases
