    Описание

Mydocalm® 150 mg is a centrally acting muscle relaxant containing tolperisone hydrochloride 150 mg per tablet. It is used to reduce abnormally increased skeletal muscle tone and muscle spasticity, particularly in neurological conditions.

Tolperisone acts primarily within the central nervous system to reduce excessive muscle activity while having a comparatively low potential for sedation. This can be an important distinction from many other centrally acting muscle relaxants.

Important: Mydocalm is a medicinal product, not a dietary supplement. Its approved indications differ between countries. For a U.S. product listing, it is better not to describe it broadly as a treatment for sciatica, osteochondrosis, back pain, radiculopathy, or multiple sclerosis unless those indications are specifically supported by the leaflet for the exact market version being sold.

    Key Benefits & Uses

    • Centrally acting muscle relaxant
    • Helps reduce pathologically increased muscle tone
    • Used for muscle spasticity
    • Helps reduce associated muscle stiffness and restricted movement
    • May support improved mobility when excessive muscle tone interferes with movement
    • Tolperisone has a relatively low sedative potential compared with many traditional centrally acting muscle relaxants
    • 150 mg tolperisone hydrochloride per tablet
    • 30 tablets per package

    How Tolperisone Works

Tolperisone is a centrally acting muscle relaxant. Its pharmacological effects involve reducing excessive spinal reflex activity and stabilizing neuronal membranes, which helps decrease pathologically increased skeletal-muscle tone.

Unlike some other centrally acting muscle relaxants, tolperisone is generally characterized by minimal sedative effects at therapeutic doses. However, individual reactions can still occur.

    How to Use

Mydocalm should be used according to the prescribing information and healthcare-professional instructions.

For formulations where the adult regimen is 150–450 mg of tolperisone daily, the total daily dose is divided into 3 doses and taken after meals with a glass of water.

Food is important because inadequate food intake can reduce the bioavailability of tolperisone.

The exact dose and duration depend on the patient's condition and response to treatment.

    Important Information & Precautions

    • Do not use if allergic to tolperisone or any component of the formulation.
    • Hypersensitivity reactions are among the most important risks associated with tolperisone. Stop taking the medicine and seek medical attention if symptoms such as rash, severe itching, hives, facial/lip/tongue swelling, wheezing, difficulty breathing, or difficulty swallowing occur.
    • Women and patients with a history of drug allergies may have a higher risk of hypersensitivity reactions.
    • Possible adverse effects can include dizziness, headache, muscle weakness, nausea, abdominal discomfort, or changes in blood pressure.
    • If dizziness, drowsiness, visual disturbance, attention disturbance, or muscle weakness occurs, avoid driving or operating machinery and consult a healthcare professional.
    • Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding should be determined by a healthcare professional.
    • Use caution when taking other medications and inform the prescriber or pharmacist of all medicines and supplements being used.
    • Keep out of reach of children.

Important Correction for Your Current Listing

I would remove “hypersensitive to lidocaine-like substances.” Tolperisone is structurally related to lidocaine, but that wording can make the contraindication sound broader than the actual product labeling.

I would also remove “Avoid alcohol during use” unless that warning appears on your specific package leaflet. One of tolperisone's distinguishing characteristics is its relatively low sedative potential, and an absolute alcohol prohibition should not be added without product-specific support.

    Medical Product Notice

Mydocalm is a medicinal muscle relaxant. It should not be described with the dietary-supplement disclaimer:

“This product supports general wellness and is not intended to diagnose or treat disease.”

That disclaimer conflicts with what the product actually is. A better statement for your page is:

Use according to the package leaflet and under the guidance of a qualified healthcare professional. Approved indications, availability, and dispensing requirements may vary by country.
