It is an antibacterial eye solution used to help manage bacterial eye infections and inflammation. This ophthalmic preparation exhibits bacteriostatic activity against various gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms commonly associated with eye infections.

Active Ingredients

Each 1 mL contains:

• Sulfacetamide Sodium (Sulfacyl Sodium) – 200 mg (20%)

Inactive ingredients may include:

• Sodium thiosulfate
• Hydrochloric acid solution (for pH adjustment)
• Water for injections.

Directions

Use only as directed by a healthcare professional.

Typical use:

• Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) several times daily, depending on the severity of the infection.
• Wash hands before and after application.
• Avoid touching the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye.

Warnings

• For ophthalmic use only.
• Do not use if you are allergic to sulfonamides ("sulfa drugs").
• Discontinue use and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling, rash, or worsening symptoms occur.
• Avoid wearing contact lenses during active eye infection.
• Keep out of reach of children.
