Tylenol® 8 Hour Muscle Aches & Pain is an extended-release pain reliever and fever reducer formulated with 650 mg of acetaminophen per caplet. Its bi-layer caplet design provides fast-acting and long-lasting relief for up to 8 hours, helping relieve muscle aches, back pain, headaches, arthritis pain, menstrual cramps, toothaches, and pain associated with colds and flu.

Directions

Adults and children 12 years and older:

• Take 2 caplets every 8 hours with water.
• Swallow whole; do not crush, chew, split, or dissolve.
• Do not take more than 6 caplets in 24 hours.
• Do not use for more than 10 days unless directed by a healthcare professional.

Children under 12 years:

• Ask a healthcare professional before use.

Warnings

• Contains acetaminophen.
• Severe liver damage may occur if:
  • More than 6 caplets are taken in 24 hours.
  • Used with other products containing acetaminophen.
  • Combined with 3 or more alcoholic drinks daily.
• Do not use if allergic to acetaminophen.
• Ask a healthcare professional before use if you have liver disease.
• Ask a healthcare professional or pharmacist before use if taking warfarin.
• Keep out of reach of children.
